In a time when many feel disconnected from their communities, a new organization is emerging in Volusia County. Rooted in Hope Volusia is a non-partisan committee dedicated to empowering our community, supporting one another, and turning hope into action through service, advocacy, and collaboration.

Why We Started

We founded Rooted in Hope Volusia to create a dedicated space for those who want to see positive change in our community but aren't sure where to start. Many people feel the desire to make a difference but lack the knowledge, resources, or support network to turn that desire into reality. Our hope is that this organization bridges that gap, providing a learning environment where passion meets practical action.

Whether you're interested in local advocacy, community service, or simply being a more engaged citizen, Rooted in Hope Volusia offers the tools, connections, and guidance to help you become an effective agent of change.

Join Us for Our Next Meeting

Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m.

We're excited to welcome Melynne Rust, author of "Common Spaces Between Us: Nurturing the Good in the Midst of Difference," who will lead a round table discussion. Through this interactive conversation, we'll explore how to find areas of agreement with others in today's volatile political and social environment.

Feel free to bring a beverage or small appetizer to share, though it's certainly not required. What matters most is your presence and participation.

While our past meetings have been wonderfully attended by many passionate women in our community, we want to emphasize that all are welcome—and we especially encourage men to join us! Building a truly inclusive community means ensuring diverse voices are heard and valued.
